Do you find yourself reluctantly thrown into public speaking situations as an attorney? It’s a common fear many professionals face but you might as well face that fear head on because as you know, public speaking makes a regular appearance in your career.
Patricia Fripp has mastered the art of public speaking, so much so that she has been inducted into the Hall of Fame. She is an in-demand speech coach, professional keynote speaker and sales presentation skill expert. She proudly holds the title of the first woman to become the President of the National Speakers Association and has been dubbed “One of the top most electrifying speakers in North America” by Meetings and Conventions magazine.
Originally from England, Patricia came to America when she was 20 with no job, nowhere to live and no contacts. She became a hair stylist working in a trendy salon and had the opportunity to meet individuals from all over the world. In 1969 she became one of the first woman stylists in a male dominated industry. She had the pleasure to work with the all star cast of “Aquarius”. Patricia began public speaking as a stylist, which led to appearances at various service clubs and in front of fellow hair stylists. Many attendees at her speaking events would later show up at her salon as they were so inspired by her talk.
